Amine was my driver, he picked me up from Marrakech airport to take me to my hotel in Essaouira, it was a long drive and I was so tired as my flight was the early hours of the morning i was also hungry, so I kept on nodding off. Amine stopped off so I could get something to eat and a much needed coffee the place we stopped at, had outside seating areas, also colourful tents in a kind of bedouin style, and interesting animals to look at, an ostrich, a camel and birds. Back on the road feeling more lively, I asked Amine if we will see the goats in the trees, he mentioned that it was not the season for them to be in the trees as the trees were flowering, which was understandable, but he did take me to the Argan Oil Women Cooperative and gave me a little history lesson about it on the way there. I got to meet the women and bought some products I liked.

I then got to my hotel and got dropped just outside the Medina as cars cannot go through there, Amine gave me easy directions to get to my hotel which was roughly a 3min walk.

As I had already built a good rapport with Amine, I asked if he could pick me up if I needed to go to other places whilst I was in Essaouira when he is not busy working, and when he was, he sent some else to make sure i got to my destination safely. Which worked out well for the few places I wanted to visit.
